The South Coast railway is currently running one of its busiest services and that has led to delays on several occasions.
Now, the company has announced a new service, called the East Coast Railway, which will begin in early 2019.
It will run from Perth to Brisbane on the existing south coast route.
There are also plans for the line to run through the state, as well as on to the Sunshine Coast.
But the biggest question for rail passengers is when will the line start to run.
The South East line was originally supposed to run on January 1, 2019, but this has been delayed again and again due to safety concerns.
It is hoped that by the time the line gets running, it will have had time to get through all of the testing and safety checks.
The company has also recently announced it will start rolling out trains on the line in October.
The line has been running for around 20 years, but now the majority of its capacity is being used by commuters travelling to work or travelling to destinations around the state.
The new service will run every hour between 10:00am and 9:00pm and will carry a maximum of 8 trains per hour.
It runs every 20 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays.
The East Coast railway will be one of the biggest improvements the company is making to its service, as it will bring the trains to a more efficient and reliable level.
